Telehealth Medication + Therapy

All in One Place

Living with depression or anxiety is exhausting — especially when you're navigating a healthcare system that fragments your care.

You might see a therapist for talk therapy, then wait months for a psychiatrist appointment just to discuss medication. Then manage two separate providers who may never speak to each other.

There's a better way.

Here's something most people in Louisiana don't know: psychologists in this state can prescribe medication. It's rare — there are only a handful of us — but it means you don't have to navigate two separate providers just to get therapy and medication management.

I'm a medical psychologist in Louisiana, and I can provide both. Via telehealth, from anywhere in the state - Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Lafayette, wherever you are.

For adults dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, or both, this integrated approach is more effective, less stressful, and far more convenient.

Telehealth appointments are available throughout Louisiana, so geography is never a barrier to getting the help you deserve.

As a psychologist with advanced training in clinical psychopharmacology, I look at the full picture - your experiences, your goals, your biology, and your environment - not just symptoms on a checklist.

Why Work With a Prescribing Psychologist?

Here’s what makes this approach different:

Whole-person care.

We consider both emotional and biological factors together - not separately.

More personalized treatment

Medication decisions are made within the context of your therapy, your history, and what actually matters to you.

Stronger continuity.

No need to repeat your story to multiple providers or coordinate between offices.

Collaborative decision-making.

You are part of the process. We move at your pace and make decisions together.

My Role & Credentials

I am licensed as a Medical Psychologist in Louisiana, which means I have completed advanced postdoctoral training in clinical psychopharmacology and am licensed to prescribe psychotropic medications.

This allows me to safely and thoughtfully integrate medication into your care when appropriate, while continuing to provide psychotherapy.

Is Medication Right for You?

Medication isn’t always necessary - and it’s never a one-size-fits-all solution.

We’ll talk through:

  • Your current symptoms and concerns
  • What you’ve tried before (therapy, medication, or both)
  • Your preferences and comfort level
  • Risks, benefits, and alternatives

If medication is appropriate, we’ll approach it carefully and intentionally. If not, we’ll focus on other effective strategies.

Getting Started Is Simple

Step 1: Reach Out.  Complete the contact form on the website or send a message to request an appointment.

Step 2: Initial Consultation. We’ll meet to discuss what’s bringing you in, your history, and whether medication, therapy, or a combination makes sense.

Step 3: Ongoing Care. If we decide to move forward, we’ll create a plan that may include therapy, medication, or both - tailored specifically to you.

A Final Note

Seeking support is a big step. Whether you're exploring medication for the first time or revisiting it with a new perspective, you deserve care that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and aligned with who you are.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to work with you.
